All five of us were really happy with our dinners. Exceeded expectations! Anytime I'm near the airport at mealtime, I now know where to go.
Great alternative to standard chain restaurant food in the area. The veggie platter and falafal are very tasty options for non meat eaters. The seating is a little rickety, but for the price it's hard to find fault with much else.
That being said, eat their food!
Very good Afghan style food. I prefer this location over the one in Columbia. This place is great for a quick lunch if you order from the daily special. Ordering from the full menu takes time because it's all prepared fresh. Come before 11:30 to avoid the lunch crowds. Try the fried pumpkin with yogurt and ground beef sauce. It's my favorite!
The restaurant really deserves 5 stars for it's food. I had the chicken tikka. It looked like it was 2 chicken thighs and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The rice was good and the bread was fresh. They included a small helping of iceberg lettuce, which seemed like a waste.
Outstanding food in a non-descript office building near the BWI Airport. Meat is always cooked perfectly. Rice is never dry or overcooked. Ingredients seem way above average and certainly above the competition.
I docked one star for the poor customer service from the young lady by the register. My brother and I were the only customers in the restaurant. When our orders came up, she yelled across the restaurant our numbers. She could have easily just brought us our order, or at least not yelled like we were at a rock concert.
