This hotel seems to be made from a standard Hilton floorplan to the point where I almost forgot what city I was in. Everything is fairly standardized. The building is relatively new and well maintained. Breakfast is an upcharge but it is a cooked to order and good quality.
To my surprise I got one of the nicest suites on my last stay. Large living room and master king bedroom. Bathroom was a walk through with two separate entrances and a nice Jacuzzi tub. I would definitely ask for that room again!
Excellent stay. Clean room. Courteous staff... even at 2 A.M. And, the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had anywhere [period]. I highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.
The location is convenient to both the airport and downtown Baltimore. Breakfast is not included with the room, but they do have a breakfast buffet daily. Parking was ample. Rooms were okay, but some furniture is beginning to show aging and my specific room had the loudest air conditioning unit I have ever experienced at a hotel. The bar was small, but had the basics. What really made my experience positive was the service after checkout. We had a strange situation in which a piece of our luggage was picked up by another traveler at BWI airport. The hotel wound up serving as an intermediary, helping after the person found a hotel receipt in the bag.
I had a wonderful 2 day stay at The Hilton Garden Inn BWI. The room was large and had a nice bathroom with plenty of amenities. I got fantastic sleep on the comfortable bed and the big TV was great for kicking back after a long day. There are restaurants close by, but the bar and menu right there at the hotel were wonderful - I would just go downstairs. The staff, including the chef, bartender, front desk, shuttle driver and maintenance (I didn't have any problems, just met him) all get 5+ out of 5 stars. All in all a fantastic stay!
