We were turned away food having a non existent party
Unfortunately I found it frustrating that i had to move from one wing to another across the lobby just to get to the pool.
Its a very quiet and cozy place. I enjoyed my stay there.
Mind you out suite was equip with microwave and full size refrigerator. So we weren't clear on why us having groceries was such an issue. And was not given any real explanation of why food was not allow.
Annual my mom 57yrs, sister and I take a road trip to through Maryland to see my mom's sister. One of which live in Md this would have been out 3rd year staying at Homewood suites. However the front desk attendant turned us away at arrival after reserving a month ago. Because we had cupcakes and groceries.
I loved the suite. It was roomy with a nice bathroom. Although we didn't use the kitchenette, it was good sized. Breakfast was excellent!
Mysterious blood on sheets. Brought to attention of staff who replaced them but were pretty rude about it. (Was definitely not mine but I think they were trying to blame me.) Totally weird experience. Turned me off hotels altogether. (This was in 2014. Hopefully this hasn't happened to anyone else.) I wish this was handled better, and I wish whoever was cleaning the room at that time actually changed the bedding, but it had definitely been slept in already. Rather disturbing.
Suite is great. Love that bedroom has a door and a full size fridge. Breakfast was good though wished it opened earlier on weekends. Convenient to other hotels which is nice when people r spread out for sports tourneys. Restaurants r convenient.
Side note. My aunt was not up for going out to a restaurant so we invited my aunt who is 65yrs old and her daughter to have dinner with us in our hotel room. We were told by the front desk attendant that would violate the hotel party policy.
